The purpose of this page is to enable the citizens of Hankelow to publish information which is not
necessarily anything to do with Hankelow.
For example, you might be taking part in, or holding, a charity event, and wish to publicise the event. Please note that I retain the right to accept or reject any request for an entry on these pages. This item was submitted by David and Daphne Mounteney "Discipleship Explored"We are pleased to let you know that on Wednesday evening 10th. March at 7.30 p.m. at Ball Farm, Hankelow, we will start a Christian encouragement Course called Discipleship Explored. This originates from the Langham Fellowship and is based on a study of Paul's letter to the Philippians. The Course runs for eight weeks. We warmly invite any Christians who would like to explore a deeper relationship with our Lord to join us for the course. For further information, please phone David or Daphne on 811242 This item was submitted by Adam Crossley of Santosha Kennels in Longhill Lane Bulk bird and pet foodSantosha Kennels have fairly regular deliveries of pet food for the kennels and cattery, usually every 2 weeks or so. The wholesaler has a wide range of products including a range of bird seeds, peanuts and other things for garden birds. If anyone in the village would like us to, we'd be happy to get things in to order. I could even put together a list of popular items with prices. It tends to be bulk in nature, 10 and 20 kg bags for example rather than a small amount. It's no problem to drop them off around Hankelow for those who aren't so mobile. If anyone might be interested they can phone me on 811314, or email me at kennels@santosha.co.uk. Sample prices can be seen here. This item was submitted by Christine Plume, secretary of the Audlem Aid to Cancer Research Thanks for all contributions.Audlem Aid To Cancer Research (AACR) would like to thank all those who attended or made donations to the Spring Fair at the Methodist Church Hall last Saturday. Nearly 200 people took the opportunity to take advantage of the many bargains that were available, resulting in an all-time record profit for the Spring Fair of £1600. Thanks to the Audlem and Hankelow Web Teams for their support with publicity for the event and to all the hard working volunteers without whose dedication events like this would not be possible. The next fund raising event is the Open Garden, Plant Sale and Summer Fair in School Lane on Saturday 12th June. There is a wide range of donated goods at the AACR shop in Shropshire Street which is open between 10 a.m and 12.30 p.m. every day except Sunday. |
